XANTHAN GUM – a natural polysaccharide of high natural weight derived from the fermentation of carbohydrates in glucose or corn syrup. Benefits - used as a binder emulsion stabiliser and skin conditioning agent.
VITAMIN E – Tocopherol or vitamin E is naturally found in vegetable fats and oils, cereals, nuts and green and yellow leafy vegetables. Benefits – used for its antioxidant properties and also acts as a skin conditioning agent. Reduces the appearance of skin marks, helps improve skin tone, moisturises and helps keep skin firm.
SHEA BUTTER – Butyrospermum Parkii Butter
Harvested from the fruit of the African shea Tree (vitellaria Paradoxa) and provides numerous benefits to the skin and hair due to a rich composition of vitamins (A, D E & F) and minerals. Illuminates skin and hair and provides additional hydration and elasticity. Excellent cell regenerator offering intense hydration and long-lasting nutrition. Acts as a natural sunscreen by combating UVA and UVB rays. Provides healing properties and protection against cold weather damage.
SACHA INCHI OIL – Plukenetia Volubilis Seed Oil
A semi-woody and perennial plant of the euphorbiaceae family, originally from the Amazon.
Excellent composition of proteins, amino acids, essential fatty acids (Omegas 3,6 and 9) and vitamin E. High content alpha linoleic, linoleic and oleic acids and an exclusive number of tocopherols. Improves the barrier function of the skin and regulates the keratinization process, protecting the cell membrane and reducing the transepidermal water loss.
ALMOND OIL - Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil
Almond oil is composed of monounsaturated fats (healthy fats found in plant foods) oleic acid and linoleic acids (Omega 3 and 6). Acts as a stimulant for the production of collagen and elastin, providing the tissues with firmness and elasticity. Reduces the appearance of wrinkles and stretch marks and is even recommended in various anti-cellulite treatments. Its anti-inflammatory, reparative and healing properties protect the skin's natural barrier and slow down the ageing process.
ALOE VERA POWDER - Aloe barbadensis leaf juice powder
Known as an astringent, this plant also has moisturising, regenerating, rejuvenating and anti -bacterial properties. These properties are perfect for revitalising the skin. It also functions as a deep cleansing agent, opening pores and eliminating toxins that cause the disruptions in the skin's normal functioning. It is especially effective for treating skin irritations, blemishes and acne.
ARGAN OIL - Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil
Argan is a small tree with a thorny trunk native to Morocco. Its oil comes from the extract of the seeds that the tree produces. Its seed is similar to an almond and it is pressed manually until the oil is extracted. Known as liquid gold, its main function is to nourish the skin and keep hair silky and shiny. It is a potent moisturiser and contains vitamins (primarily Vit E), antioxidants and essential fatty acids. Does not leave excess oil on the skin and absorbs quickly. Its healing properties work to soothe skin irritations and inflammation.
BLACK TEA - Saccharomyces
Rich in fatty acids and B vitamins, reduces the roughness of the skin thanks to its lipo-filling effect, helping to fill wrinkles and expression lines. It also gives luminosity and vitality.
